A serial ticket or a Busflix card?
The Mäkelä serial ticket and the Busflix card are more cost-effective than buying individual tickets if you travel on our routes regularly. Busflix is a monthly subscription card that allows you to travel on our routes as much as you like for a fixed price. You can read more about our Busflix card here.
The serial ticket is a better option for you if you travel regularly but not quite every day on our route.
The Busflix card, on the other hand, is a better and more affordable option for you if you travel on our route every day. For example, if you take two trips a day between 1 and 9 km, you’ll use 20 trips on the pass in two weeks, so you’ll need to recharge the pass twice a month, which comes to 138 euros. With Busflix, on the other hand, you can travel the same distance for a monthly fee of 79 euros. This means you save 59 euros every month with Busflix.
And if you travel our longest route, 60–69 km (e.g., between Jyväskylä and Keuruu), to work every day and top up your pass twice a month, that comes to 398 euros—whereas with Busflix, you travel the same distance for a monthly fee of 179 euros. That’s a savings of 219 euros!
