Description of the trip
This guided kayaking tour in Leivonmäki National Park is suitable for everyone, and no prior kayaking experience is necessary. Tavinsula`s guide will introduce you to kayaking techniques and water safety before departure. The guide will accompany and assist you throughout the entire tour.
The route to Niinisaari, planned according to the prevailing weather, winds through a charming archipelago. On Niinisaari, we’ll enjoy a lunch by the campfire, included in the tour price. You’ll also have the chance to go for a swim, so be sure to bring your swimsuit and towel.
On the return trip, we’ll try to paddle a slightly different route back to Harjulahti, where we’ll arrive in time before the bus departs. Be sure to bring weather-appropriate outdoor clothing.

Outdoor Express is back in the summer of 2026! Outdoor Express offers a quick connection from downtown Jyväskylä to the Leivonmäki, Pyhä-Häkki, and Etelä-Konnevesi National Parks. Once you arrive, you’ll have plenty of time to explore on your own or take advantage of the national park’s services.
