Harmony Sisters – Conquering the World Through the Power of Song!

In the summer of 2026, the Pyynikki Summer Theater will host the premiere of the musical “Harmony Sisters,” a fast-paced, true-story-based production about Finland’s first all-female band—the singing Valtonen sisters. The group rose to stardom in the 1930s, and their career continued through the war years until the late 1950s.

The Pyynikki Summer Theater production takes you on a fast-paced journey through time to the birth and success of the singing group. It also movingly tells of dreams, the power of music, sisterhood, and the longing for love. The performance features dozens of songs made famous by the group, including “Kodin kynttilät,” “Sulle salaisuuden kertoa mä voisin,” “Sataman valot,” and “Pieni sydän.”

After the performance, we’ll head back to home via the same route as earlier.
