Our journeys built on responsible choices

Sustainability isn’t a separate project for us – it’s part of every day and every journey. Over nearly 90 years of history, we’ve learned that sustainable growth comes from caring: people, environment and community.

Environmental Responsibility – Reducing Our Footprint

Low-emission fleet
78% of our fleet meets Euro 6 emission standards. We actively monitor fuel consumption and idle time, and train our drivers in anticipatory driving techniques.

Energy efficiency at our depots
Our Keuruu depot is heated with local district heating. We use water from the lake near by for bus washing to preserve valuable freshwater resources. We also use environmentally friendly detergents, and sort waste at the workshop – we’re working to expand this practice across all our operations.

Public transport is climate action
Bus travel produces significantly fewer emissions per person than private car use. We provide market-based public transport and encourage everyone to choose shared transportation.

Social Responsibility – We Care About People

A good workplace in countryside
We create meaningful work and jobs in Western lakeland Finland. We offer our staff 400 € annual benefit for sports, massage, and cultural activities, health insurance, and weekly sports sessions.

Training and development
We invest in our staff’s expertise through training and vocational qualifications. We offer young people apprenticeships, internships and summer jobs.

Safety first
We maintain our fleet regularly, and our own organized tours always have a club hostess on board to ensure smooth operations and safety.

Travel for everyone
We lower the barriers to travel with accessible vehicles and personal service. Our club hostesses especially support elderly travelers for whom traveling would otherwise be difficult.

Economic Responsibility – Building Sustainable Growth

A local family business in its fourth generation
We operate with a long-term perspective, not for quick profits. We pursue moderate, profitable growth as we aim to secure jobs and services in the rural area for the future also.

Supporting the local economy
We prioritize local suppliers and partners in our procurement. On our tours, we guide customers to local services – keeping tourism revenue in the community.

Active in our community
We support sports clubs, associations, and youth activities in Keuruu and surrounding areas. We collaborate with educational institutions and offer young people work-based learning opportunities.

We Measure and Continuously Improve

We track the impact of our operations using sustainable tourism indicators. We gather feedback from customers and staff so we can become even more responsible.

Customer satisfaction: On average, 99% would recommend our organized tours to their friends.

Our goals: 100% customer satisfaction and continuous progress toward lower-emission operations.
